Appointments

All visits require an appointment except in the case of an emergency. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to see your child if you walk in without an appointment. We will ask you to return later in the day when the schedule allows.

Registration and Appointment Check-In. Here at Avilio E Munoz MD we are always working to enhance and streamline your office visits. Our pre-registration and pre-visit check-in software, Phreesia, assists us in giving you the best experience possible. We are ditching the clipboard of paperwork and opting for the newest, secure, and digital solution. This system helps us to obtain the most up to date information, reduce our paper consumption, and reduce time spent in the waiting room for registration, therefore reducing wait time for seeing your provider.

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you contact us. Please message us directly using your patient portal account to our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting.

If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.

Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.

Patients who walk in with a non-emergency condition will be fit into the existing schedule as best as possible, or they will be asked to return later in the day when the schedule allows.
